Off to Idaho tomorrow!

I wanted to post something so maybe someone else will too. Tomorrow we head to Idaho following church to give our Trek Fireside for Scott's ward. Sure hope it is what they wanted. We will spend the night and have break fast and a visit with Scott before returning to get ready for our company that arrives Tuesday evening. We love having folks visit and are glad we had time to wash the sheets and towels and get things ready.

Today we planted some things outside - some hostas in the back bed by the garage where there is more shade than sunshine and some daylillies out front where I can see them from the window and door. Our neighbor came over and asked some questions I think she is going to get a storm door too. It is just so nice to be able to see outside more. I may have some trouble getting anything to gorw much on the kitchen porch. but once it warms up I am going to go for begonias and impatients and hope they will do. I did buy some violas to plant out front right now in the pots and then when it wamrs up I will change them out for geraniums and lobellia and probabloy a creeping petunia of some sort. Maybe even a vine that will hang down and give things character. today we went to this neat store that is only open two days a week. We had gone there a couple of weeks ago and bought a mirror but decided not to use it and so returned it and got a nice tall plant stand for the corner of our patio. it looks really good there and the pot is up high so I can see it and you will be able to see the flowers from the street once they get going.

Well I guess this is enough for right now.

New Pictures of Julie's kitchen

We thought you might want to see the latest pictures of Julie and Dave's new kitchen. it is going to be wonderful. This first one was taken last weekend, March 7 of the new floor.

The one on the right is of the new cabinets on the outside wall. the picture on the left is of the length of the kitchen and the cabinets on the wall between the kitchen and dining room.

We think it is lovely and can't wait to see it finished.

New Post

Hi - I realised that none of us had posted anything for some time. I enjoy checking out my friend's blogs and would love to look here for pictures or thoughts of our family.

The Picture of the Baird's was taken last week when they came for a visit. We had a good time visiting, eating and exploring.

This is a picture of the snow we got on Monday, March snows don't stay too long, thank goodness!!

I will post a picture or two and look again to see what you have done.

First Snow

Here is a pic of our first snow and here is Molly and Kira (the newfoundland next door) playing. You can't really see them but Kira has got Molly on the ground. They love playing with each other so much. Kira is only about 6 months old and is bigger than Molly.
